For the best experience, especially if you are a beginner, you should stay around designated "no-wake zones." These areas are close to shore and tend to be safer as you won't need to worry about speeding boats out on the open water.

However, the lake is over 93 miles long, meaning that it can be hard to find the best fishing spot for the fish that you are trying to catch.
