Obviously, if you are coming to the Ozarks, you are going to want to play around in the water for a while. For those who like options, there are actually a couple of different ways you can do this.
Obviously, you can take a dunk in the Lake of the Ozarks. Point Randall Resort makes it incredibly easy, as it sits on the coast of the lake, and offers a loading dock where you can drop your jet skis, small boats, and tubes for a small fee. These rides can be relaxing or thrilling depending on what your family wants. Ensure that each one of your family members has some sort of life jacket—particularly if they are young children.
If you want a more structured experience, mosey your way down to one of the two waterparks near the lake. Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park is only a 20 minute drive, and offers quite a deal. Cruise down the lazy river, sit in the whirlpool for a relaxing evening, or hop down one of the many water slides. The fun is in your hands!
Big Surf Waterpark is a half-hour away from Point Randall, and has its own unique attractions. The Zambezi Falls drop is a giant slide that thrills those who brave them. The giant wave pool can be a lot of fun for tubers. There is even a play area for toddlers and other young children.
